I nitiate Peace

Jesus said that he came to send a fire on the earth. (Luke 12:43) Some people think Christians should not be angry & be whimpering little mama's boys. I just can't picture Elijah, Elisha, John the Baptist, the Apostle Paul or Jesus in that light. I am convinced the difference between uncontrolled & controlled anger is seen more inward than outward. Remember there are proper & improper controls of our anger. There is a superficial peace that many of us settle for until anger unsettles it. Jesus was angry about this false sense of peace & wished we were already dealing with it. We need to initiate a true peace. For we are peacemakers & not peacekeepers. Some times in the process of cooling our jets we need to create a little conflict but not for the sake of conflict but in the direction of peace.
