Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus... Philippians 2:5

Speak Your Peace

Once you have reached a place of peace in your spirit and God has filled you with the proper prophetic words then and only then it is time to speak your peace. Remember the words of Christ, “I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.” (John 8:26,28,38; 5:19, 30) Jesus did not open His mouth unless it was to speak the things from God the Father. He said to the scribes and Pharisees that they repeated the things they heard from their father, referring to Satan. Before we speak our peace, it would benefit us to recognize the source. If it is from God then I challenge you to speak it, but if you know it is not then it would profit you to keep silent because God will hold you accountable for the words that proceed out of your mouth (Matthew 12:31), and those words will be a judgment against you. (Romans 2:1) So I beg you to be careful when you speak, but don’t neglect to speak if it is from God. (Ezekiel 3:17-21) It is your responsibility to care about your fellow man. To the original question, “Am I my brother’s keeper?” the answer is a simple, “Yes.” So when God speaks then you speak your peace or you will never discover peace.
