Exposure to Peace

An exposure to the power of Christ cannot be experienced, if we release the pressure of our anger in an unwholesome, ungodly way. There is such a desire among man for peace. We seek peace in any and every form that we can discover; artificial, superficial, and divine. So few people are truly exposed to a real, deep, and true peace from the onslaught of anger and disappointments. Jesus guaranteed us that offenses and tribulation will come. (Luke 17:1; John 16:33) He also promised to make us overcomers and grant us a peace not like that experienced by the world. (John 14:27) You cannot win in the heat of your anger but you can when you find the peace of God. We were made to praise Him and it does us absolutely no good to be angry with the one that holds our breathe in His hand or with the any of His creation. For us to be exposed to peace, there are three phrases that we must learn to use frequently and mean it; “I’m sorry!”, “I forgive you!”, and “I love you”. You will never be exposed to peace if you are occupying a false, self-made throne. Expose yourself to a kinder and gentler way and peace will be gain an exposure to peace.
